Slow Motion

I am extremely blessed to have a full life.
A life full of excitement, friends, celebrations.
Every once and a while it is nice to stop and spend a weekend in slow motion.

This weekend was a weekend in slow motion. Reese came up to my small town to escape the hustle and bustle of h-town.
It was nice to be just the two of us to laugh and joke and watch corny 1980's movies.

Friday night was Dinner and a Movie... except movie turned into getting caught up on Desperate Housewives... but hey my set up still looked cute.

For dinner I made one of our favorites Stuffed Bell Pepers and snacked on popcorn and sour patch kids while watching the ridiculousness that is Wisteria Lane...ahhh a perfect Friday night!

Saturday Reese and I "accidentally" ended up in Canton for First Monday. We had a yummy lunch, a wonderful wine tasting and unequally wonderful stroll around the best market in the state of Texas!

My Canton treasure; a lovely vintage camera!
When we returned from Canton we had an AWESOME Cinco De Mayo dinner complete with the BEST margaritas and a showing of the 1986 classic "The Three Amigos"!

Recipe

My world famous enchiladas...err at least famous in MY world :)

Our cute little Cinco De Mayo date set up! Ole!

Truly a wonderful weekend in slow motion spent with my very best friend.

 ahhhh perfection!

Also, now I NEED some enchiladas and a margarita...or two. Immediately.

First of all, you are a wonderful date planner! So much thought! Second, I cannot watch a movie without sour patch kids and popcorn - salty, sour and sweet. Glad you had such a wonderful weekend :)
