It's Monday People.

People of the internet it is Monday. It is the first monday in JULY... July is entirely too close to August, aka the start of school,in my opinion, but I still havent figured out who I need to talk to about this. Anyway...

Whew this has been a jam packed weekend!

Friday:
A. People, I actually got in front of the lens (say what!) I have just seen one of the pics but not gonna lie i'm a little obsessed! To see the preview head over to Meg Sloan's Facebook wall! I cant wait to share them all with yall!

B. People this is Harry. The story of Harry is so great that I am actually going to do a whole post about him tomorrow, but just to wet your appetite he is Australian works in the outback and had a pet kangaroo. People you read that right A PET KANGAROO.

Saturday:
A. People, I've said it once and i'll say it again the best part of blogging is unexpected and totally awesome friendships that come as a result! Saturday I was lucky enough to meet up with Lindsay and Whitney two of my favorite bloggers! We laughed, we talked, we had a complete stranger take our photo. It had all the makings of a perfect mini blogger meet up!

B. . People, this grandma went bowling at cosmic bowling at 11pm. I'm pretty proud of myself that I stayed awake the whole time...even though you couldn't tell by my score.  Reese and I went with his crazy (in a loving way) roommate and his super sweet girl friend! It was nice to just be a little silly with some sweet friends!

Sunday:
A. People I got to go play with my new camera, more on that later, with the afore mentioned Whitney and her Hubby and pup! They are wonderful... the end! Here is a little sneak peek! The rest of them should be on Meg Cady Photography sometime this week!!
Update: I got really proactive this morning and ended up finishing the blog edits ... enjoy here!

People.... HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!

I'm also 100% convinced that I need to come to Texas, because that's where all of the cool bloggers live! I NEEEED to meet you & Lindz...like yesterday!

Glad you had a fun weekend :)

I agree that July is too close to August and school starting, and I still don't have a teaching job for next year!

It sounds like you had a great weekend! :]

I was just thinking to myself the other day that summer is almost over! What?! I should not think that way. I seriously think school should only be 8 months rather than 9. I really need 4 months of summer! BTW, I'm just like you - people are shocked if I'm out past 10pm.
Have a great week!

It was so great to see you again, love bug! I can't wait to see your photos by Meg and your photos of Whit! :-)

One day in the not so distant future, will you take pictures of me? Pretty please?

I hope you're having a blast with your new Canon and your newly revamped computer! WAHOO!

Happy Monday, dear!

I know what you mean... I flipped my calendar over last week to fill in a date for July, flipped over one more month and there was AUGUST (aka, school starting). AHHH! I'm so not ready to start classes again!
I'm glad you got to meet up with your bloggies!
Have a good week! :)

Saw you on another person's blog and you said that you were a 6th grade English teacher, right? And that you had some printable posters... Think maybe you can share your wealth? :)

Yeah! I am trying to compile all my stuff and convert it into stuff yall can download and print out! My plan is to have it all done by the last week of july.

I have different class rules sets that I created, motivational quote posters, parts of speech stuff, expectations all that sort of stuff.

I originally created the printable because everything I found was too baby/cutesy which is fine for elementary but I wanted my 6th graders to feel like going to middle school truly part of the maturing process so I have tried to keep the "cutesy" to a minimum.

What do you teach?
