A Very Disney Christmas!

When my parents moved to the East Coast from Texas I was pretty bummed. I was most bummed about the holidays, holidays are ment to be spent in your childhood home, hiding from people you went to high school with NOT in an unfamiliar place. This was my second holiday away from "home" turns out that it isn't too bad, especially when it means getting to go on fun trips like the one we went on this year!

13 years ago my family moved away from Orlando. When you are 10 and spend most weekends either being a balla on the 4th grade basketball team or going to Disney... life is pretty sweet. My favorite part of Disney are the few moments right when you walk into a park (mostly Magic Kingdom) as a kid it NEVER got old no matter how many times I walked in!

Test Track is out "family ride". For year when my will change lanes a little fast or take a curve just a bit too quick we all yell out "TEST TRACK". Disney just finished redoing it and the ride is even better than I remember it!

Whats disney with out a little Mickey!

I got to meet the sweetest, cutest, Disney plaid-est blogger EVER while we were there. I can't tell you how big of a blessing she was on our time in the park! Kathleen worked some Disney magic (a la the ice cream below) that kick started our trip!

Kathleen's magic got us on Soarin' (Epcot's newest ride) a little faster than the TWO HOUR wait (did I mention she was our Disney angel?!). Let me tell you, it would have been worth the two hour wait! I just loved getting to meet another blogger, definitely one of the highlights of the day!

We finished up our day with Disney's Electrical Parade.
AHHH-MAZING.

Confession... I just really want to be a Disney Princess.

Disney was a great kick off to my Christmas break and a really fun walk down memory lane!

This is seriously one of my favorite places ever! We didn't get to ride Soarin' because the line was so long, but I'm determined to do it next time!

Didn't you love Soarin'?! Ever since Soarin' Over California opened at DCA, it's been a family fave. So fun! I still haven't been to Disney World, but when I do. I know I'm going to go crazy. So fun!

Not to name drop, but I'm friends with Mary Poppins and Ariel over there. ;)

Disney World is seriously the best, no matter what age! So jealous you got to spend Christmas there!

PS - I think 99% of girls wanted to be a Disney Princess...or still do ;)

Looks like a lot of fun!

I can relate...I hate change and always dreamed of my parents living in the same house in the same town and being able to go home for visits to find my bedroom just the way I left it (well, almost)...Not the case!

The only house that I think of as "home" was my Grandparents' house because they lived in it until they passed away and my family moved way too many times.

Oh well!
