Drum Rollllll please....

INTRODUCING

In high school one of our graduation requirements was a technology class. I decided to go against the grain and not pick keyboarding(which I probably should have taken because I WaS StIlL TyPinG liKe tHis), so I chose web design. This class was full of NERDS (and one boy who would come telling me stories of getting arrested every other day, classy I know.). Yes, I am sure they are now making millions of dollars and are essentially running the world but in 2005 I had them beat in the cool category (which is saying a lot, trust me). To say I was horrible at this class would be to put it lightly--yall I SUCKED. Many a day I would curse all things HTML under my breath and in return my teacher would hand me $5 and tell me to go get him a sonic drink. I tell you this to really paint you a picture of my relationship with HTML code, it was horrible.
So the task of redesigning my blog was not something I was necessarily looking forward to. Luckily, I remembered some of the HTML I cursed under my breath and Reese is a web design wizard (although I would like to point out he helped me VERY LITTLE). I am slightly obsessed with the results and hope you are too! It is so nice to have a new space to finally get going on things I have been thinking about doing forever!

So...Sweetly Complicated is no more. I created Sweetly Complicated in the middle of the night when I was suppose to be studying for finals when life was significantly more complicated. Life has changed SO MUCH since 2010 I am so thankful for an account of the past 2+ years with a new name and new look that represents where I am now! Lets take a tour...

Go click around (personally I love the "Sparkle"and "About" tabs) and tell me what you think!
Can't wait to get the Everyday Meg chapter in my blogging life underway!

I don't know how to change the hover icon to something that is not the Pinterest logo, but I like that there is some brand identifying with the red circle P... think every three year old knows what the golden arches mean!

I should have really taken the computer classes in high school. Photography counted for the same credit so I took that. Yea, not using it at all lol.

Awesome new blog design! And great job for doing it yourself. I'm not that great at html myself, so I really admire it when people can do all their blog and website design themselves. And, aside from the design, your blog is great reading as well!
